Taking Stock of RPA

چکیده
HfS’ inaugural Intelligent Automation Blueprint has outlined the state of the nation in Intelligent Automation and drawn very distinctive lines into the sand. We are seeing the exponential growth of the deployments setting in. However, this growth occurs largely below the radar as the market communication and stakeholder management around the notion of automation remain unusually coy. This is largely due to the not yet fully understood impact on revenue models on the supply side but also to emotional responses to notions of robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Yet, the notion of what RPA is meant to represent is starting to shift in line with that maturation. It is moving beyond the extraction of data from heterogenous systems and the ability to capture, schedule and execute process steps in a studio, drag and drop style. All tool providers are expanding the capabilities toward operational analytics and AI while service providers are pushing service orchestration and broad automation frameworks. As a result, the go-to-market and the stakeholder management is evolving from notions of task automation and a narrow, shortterm cost focus toward an emphasis on transformation and end-to-processes. Unsurprisingly, this has led to significant shifts in the competitive landscape.

Annealing helicase HARP closes RPA-stabilized DNA bubbles non-processively
We investigate the mechanistic nature of the Snf2 family protein HARP, mutations of which are responsible for Schimke immuno-osseous dysplasia. Using a single-molecule magnetic tweezers assay, we construct RPA-stabilized DNA bubbles within torsionally constrained DNA to investigate the annealing action of HARP on a physiologically relevant substrate. We find that HARP closes RPA-stabilized bubb...
متن کاملInteractions of the papovavirus DNA replication initiator proteins, bovine papillomavirus type 1 E1 and simian virus 40 large T antigen, with human replication protein A.
Papovaviruses utilize predominantly cellular DNA replication proteins to replicate their own viral genomes. To appropriate the cellular DNA replication machinery, simian virus 40 (SV40) large T antigen (Tag) binds to three different cellular replication proteins, the DNA polymerase alpha-primase complex, the replication protein A (RPA) complex, and topoisomerase I. The functionally similar papi...

متن کاملEffect of Dividend Policy Measures on Stock Price volatility in Tehran Stock Exchange
This paper aims to determine the impact of dividend policy on stock price volatility by taking firms listed on Tehran stock exchange. A sample of 68 listed companies from Tehran stock exchange is examined for a period from 2001 to 2012. The estimation is based on cross-sectional ordinary least square regression analysis to find the relationship between share price volatility and dividend poli...
متن کاملOptimizing refolding condition for recombinant tissue plasminogen activator
Low molecular size additives such as L-arginine and the redox compounds have been used both in the culturemedium and in vitro refolding to increase recombinant proteins production. Additives increase proteinrefolding and yield of active proteins by suppressing aggregate formation or enhancing refolding process. In this work, a comparative study was performed on refolding of rec...
